GUEST TOWELS HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!!!!!

Just what is wrong with the lonely towel hanging in the everyday towel ring next to the sink. Someone anyone please explain to me why whY wHY WHY people insist on wiping their hands on the good guest towels in my bathroom? Is it because they are in a grouping of three? Color coordinated? Maybe they are just buying into the mob mentality - safety in numbers SAVE MY GUEST TOWELS!!!!!!!!
NO NO NO THE TOWELS ARE JUST FOR SHOW!!!!!
Is this what it has come to? start protesting the use of my guest towels - When i ask who used them i get the "Well i used the guest towels before i didnt use the guest towels" story Or maybe I'll just take the liberal stance and blame George W Bush for my own irresponsibility as an American for choosing to have $15 guest towels (yes per towel x 6) hanging in my bathroom

WELL I ALWAYS WONDERED WHY "GUEST TOWELS" WERE EVER NEEDED...BUT I GUESS THATS JUST A GUY THING......AND YES I HAVE BEEN YELLED AT FOR USING GUEST TOWELS TO DRY MY HANDS....

i know this was posted a couple of years ago, but i could not agree more with you. my boyfriend and i have been having this problem for what seems like forever. in my case, he uses the towels and does not understand why they are for display. he brings it up when we are out with his friends. most have never heard of guest towels. they think i am crazy for getting upset over it. it kills me!! lol! they are all intelligent and educated. i, of course, get defensive because it seems so normal to me. i know it is not the end of the world, but i work hard to keep my home nice and can't understand why anyone would not want the same thing. it is not as if i don't offer other towels. i guess some people don't care or see it as a big deal. anyway, i have to say that your post gave me a big laugh and made me feel like i am not alone!! thanks
